Boys Varsity Trapshooting · Hunter Satterfield and Coach Rob Mathis Receive State Championship Trap Rings

Tonight MTCS honored Hunter Satterfield for his achievements this past season in trapshooting.

Hunter has numerous noteworthy accomplishments throughout his trap career. During the program and the subsequent shoot-off, Hunter shot the most targets of over 1500 shooters in the Tennessee State Shoot this past summer and is the first varsity shooter in MTCS history to be the Tennessee state individual champion.

Hunter’s dedication to the sport is evident in his many hours of practice needed to achieve this success. It also speaks to Coach Rob Mathis and the time and dedication he has poured into the trap team. Our faculty, staff, students and our entire community are proud to be represented by Hunter and Coach Mathis.

MTCS President  Matt Tiller and Principal Dr. Robert Sain presented Hunter and Coach Mathis with their State Championship rings at the halftime of the girls basketball game vs. Ezell-Harding.

Congratulations to Hunter Satterfield and Coach Mathis!!
